D’Banj — I’m Going Into Farming

Nigeria’s pop music star, D’Banj, has said that he is
considering delving into full scale farming to help fight
poverty and encourage many African youths to embrace
agriculture as a means of livelihood.
He was also made the organisation’s face of 2014 Year of
Agriculture Campaign as declared by the Africa Union.

“As a face of the ONE Organisation’s initiative to drive full
participation in agriculture, I have to live by example. I am
going to engage in agriculture personally to encourage
millions of African youths who look up to me as a role model.
I need to let them know that unlike the old stereotype of
farming which was considered a punishment, modern farming
on the contrary, is a cool source of employment for many
graduates,” said D’Banj.
According to him, there should be a change where many
youths are expected to embrace agriculture and see it as a
potentially high-yielding venture to tackle hunger and
poverty on the continent.

Agriculture is life and it is everything that we live for. It is
the only way forward for us in Africa. There are many
potentials we are missing out and if we could focus on it, the
continent can actually feed the rest of the world,” he said.
D’Banj noted that he once tried in his own little way to
tackle hunger by going into Koko Gari project not really on a
large scale. But now that he is working with ONE
Organisation and has been exposed to the potentials in
agriculture, he is ready to get involved deeply.
Also speaking at the launch of the campaign, Camerounian-
born Nde Ndifonka, Media Manager, Africa, ONE
Organisation, said the organisation is keen on pushing the
continent’s leaders to stop paying lip service to the funding
of agriculture.
He noted that after 10 years of AU’s affirmation that
African countries should devote at least 10 percent of the
annual budget to agriculture, only three countries-Ghana,
Burkina Faso and Benin have met the target.
Ndifonka said there should be change in paradigm and ONE
is championing a petition to force the leaders to increase
their funding and help tackle poverty and hunger on the
continent.
He disclosed that D’Banj will lead the campaign, sign the
petition and get other celebrities across Africa to sign for
onward delivery to the leaders at their AU Summit coming up
in June.

Is Davido expecting twin babies with this UK based model?

Davido has denied reports that he is
expecting a set of twins with a London
based model.
Online tabloids report that 23-year-old
Shanielle ‘Sunshine’ Haye is five months
pregnant and Davido is the person who got
her knocked up.
Reports say Haye is claiming to have met
with Davido and had a fling with him while
the singer was on a UK tour in 2013. Going
through her Instagram and Twitter
accounts, Miss Haye does imply that she is
expecting a set of twins, she does
NOT however mention Davido as her baby
daddy.
Haye has been tweeting about her twins
for five months. It’s believed she’s
expecting a set of girls.
‘TWINS!! I think I’m gonna pass out‘, she
wrote on Twitter on November 11, 2013. ‘My
daughters will be heartstoppers‘, she
tweeted on December 22, 2013. On
December 29, 2013, she revealed the name
of her twins ‘Ameerah‘ and ‘Shania‘.
Haye also tweeted at Davido, calling him a
‘natural’ in reference to his MTN
‘babysitter’ advert.
Davido’s camp hasn’t released an official
statement over the baby mama drama
allegation but have denied the rumour. NET
however discovered that Davido does follow
the young lady’s Twitter acocunt so there
goes the impossibility of them not knowing
each other.
Reacting to the news, Haye tweeted some
minutes ago ‘WOW!! You so called humans
(ANIMALS) really have nothing better to
do with your lives but chat shit!!Don’t
mention my name in ur boring lies!‘.
Interestingly, Haye’s Instagram page
suggests she was in a relationship the same
time she got knocked up.
According to her profile
on modelmayhem.com, Haye is of Cuban
and Jamaican descent. She currently works
as a model in London. She has featured in
reality TV shows ‘The Love Bus :

Catholics Are Corrupting The Gospel Of Jesus Christ ––Okotie

Pastor Kris Okotie of the Household of God Church tells Punch's Gbenro
Adeoye in this interview why he still wants to run for president despite his
three failed attempts and why he splashed over N150m on two luxury cars
recently. The issue about the Catholics was also addressed again...

Q- You look quite young for your age, what's the secret?

A- I have often said that if you want to look young, win souls for Jesus Christ.
Moreover, I belong to the Methuselah clan. God made him the oldest man in
the Bible so that he could witness for Him. It follows from that logic; if
you want to live long and look young, win souls.

Q- How will you sum up your experience in ministry in the last 30 years?

A- It is indeed a rare privilege and honour for which my gratitude to the Lord
Jesus Christ cannot possibly be expressed in words. Over the course of my
gospel career, I have come to realise that ministry apart from winning
souls, is all about service, really. It is probably the best nursery and
training ground for leaders in any sphere of human endeavour. It is in
ministry that the complex problems of humanity stare you in the face. You
encounter circumstances that only God could handle because of their sheer
complexity and bizarre nature.

Q- You are a multifaceted human being. The musician, lawyer, pastor and
politician, how do you manage all these?

A- I do by maintaining a balance and I enjoy it.

Q- You stirred up controversy when you said Catholics would go to hell. Why did
you say that?

A- It's because the church perverts the gospel of Jesus Christ and that
perversion is located in the leadership, even as Pope Francis recently
announced. However, there are many good Christians within the Catholic
Church who are not aware of the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church,
that has substituted Mary for Jesus, in what is known as the hyperdulia of
the Virgin Mary. Salvation for them is not through Jesus alone but in
accordance with what Pope Francis recently announced to the world. That,
in itself, is a direct violation of the sanctity of the scriptures.

Q- You even described the Pope as “an anti-Christ and a friend of Satan” and
the Catholic Church is a counterfeit church set up by Satan. What made
you say this?

A- The heresies in their doctrine and the recent announcement by Pope Francis
corroborate this position.

Q- Are you still planning to remarry?

A- No.
